Blog: Done is better than perfect?

Here's a secret, I've never been a big believer in that old saying, 'done is better than perfect'. I've always been the kind of person to chase perfection. The one to pick the stitches out and start again. Scrumple up pages. Scribble over things. You get the idea. I've always had the need for things to be just right. So that's sort of how it came about that I managed to go a whole year freelancing without finishing work on my own website.

As a professional, I help businesses to find their voice. I help brands to communicate more consistently and effectively. From the copy on their website to the type of photography on their Instagram. And like most people in this sector, I'm usually busy doing someone else's stuff instead of my own. So when it comes to my own, it's either last on my list or I go through everything again and again, rewriting that perfect intro, or forever swapping photos around.

But, as I've come to find over the last few months, done really is sometimes better than perfect. So rather than continue to agonise over sentence structure and paragraph lengths, I thought I'd just put it out there. My little corner of the internet where I can show and tell you a little bit more about what I do, and how we might be able to work together.

Since my services are pretty varied, I thought I'd use my little blog to introduce more of the type of things I can offer your business. As well as sharing advice and articles that I think you might like. Hopefully you'll find it useful, and maybe even a little entertaining.
So, here goes nothing...
